Occupying the catbird seat in the MSNBC prime time lineup has apparently come at a high cost for Rachel Maddow.
Since her checks started being signed by GE's corporate paymasters, the winsome free-spirited cable nymph now spends her time disparaging real liberal heroes like Gravel and Kucinich.
In this piece of character assasination, Maddow not only makes light of Gravel's Cassandra-esque warning about bellicose politicians, but goes so far as to insinuate that Kucinich was "an angry candidate."
That's right.
During their yearly mock award ceremony airing this week, the Chicago Tribune’s Clarence Page once again felt it necessary to award Mike a dubious boobie prize.
A newly mustachioed Mike Gravel sat down with British firebrand George Galloway for a lively and informative interview.
Wish we had contemplative political gabfests like this in the US, only thing that comes close on a national scale is Charlie Rose and maybe CSPAN.
Mike Gravel was featured in Rachel Maddow’s campaign-in-review highlight reel Sunday night on MSNBC. Naturally, what little of Mike there was consisted of him looking deranged and throwing a rock into a lake along with a glib mention by Maddow to the effect of “can’t imagine why he didn’t win.”
Entertainment Weekly asked writers for the 'Daily Show' and 'The Colbert Report' to submit mock-questions for the presidential debates.
Among them is "Senator Gravel, how did you get in here?"
Not all that funny, but as a meda mention I felt compelled to include it here.
According to friends of mine with HBO, on tonight’s episode, Gov. Jon Corzine mentioned Mike Gravel to which Bill Maher simply rolled his eyes or something to that effect.
This past Wednesday Sen. Gravel did a call in with us. You may view/listen at www.themorningshowlive.com
I'll get it youtubed eventually.
Thanks, Senator for all you've done and continue to do!
If you or anyone you know lives in NYC, please turn them on to this as this is important to the whole country. It's the NYC 911 Ballot Intiative for an HONEST investigation into what happend on 9/11/01.
Thanks!
Lori
Here is the video of Mike speaking at the book signing last week in Philly.

Just belatedly read Stephanie's post over on HuffPo.
Anyone catch this today?
He was being filmed this morning by C-Span about his new book The Kingmakers. I checked on the website and couldn't find when it will be scheduled to air, so maybe, just maybe (don't hold your breath) it will be posted on this site so we can get the word out.
Also...this www.youtube.com/watch?v=apMTv4Qf3w8 should have MORE views and ratings!
