Previously on...........

Crossing Jordan, a man of middleeastern decent, and regular character on this NBC drama, is picked up by HOMELAND SECURITY and held without charge or warrent.  His well connected friends struggle to find him and get this INNOCENT MAN released.  Meanwhile, when he cannot answer their questions, an electronic device of torture is wheeled in...cut.  When he is finally reunited with his friends and coworkers, they are unaware of what he has been through.  Only he,and we the audience know and it is chilling and baffling.

I have been monitoring TV "news" and drama.  The same corporations controlling the news own these TV shows.  Yet, time and again stories are told and have been for several years regarding: ghost prisoners, warrentless searches, torture and the lose of our civil liberty.  Popular, long running dramas like Law and Order and its many offshoots, Boston Legal, Hack (CBS, cancelled a few years ago.)  What is going on?  Why does the sold out TV "news", which runs around the clock insist on a virtual real news blackout, and yet, allow these stories to be told?

It is a mystery to me.
