Anti-war Anti-Bush Rallys...

Is Mike Gravel speaking at any of the Anti -Iraq War rallys? I saw part of one on CNN with ANSWER and other groups. Would be good exposure to many who don't know him. I think there's one in San Fransisco and also an APRIL 7 Coalition for "Hands off Cuba etc. Probably lots more protests will be starting up on college campuses.

Gravel stopped the draft

I was at an event in New Hamsphire when Mike was campaigning last summer.  One of those in attendance, stood up and told the crowd that in his opinion, Mike Gravel saved his life by taking on Richard Nixon and successfully ending the draft.  Now there are rumblings that with the recent Bush surge (21000 more troops and more) that there may be plans of reinstating the draft.  There's only one candidate who has shown the backbone to take on the establishment and, surprise surprise, the establishment is trying to shut him out.  It's time to speak truth to power.  Let Mike speak about Citizen Power.

Good idea! Dennis Kucinich always talks about how he's the only candidate who shows up at those events. I would love if Mike showed up and it's like "ha! two candidates now!" He should definitely start going.  I would love it too if he could also there talk about how he ended the draft.  :D
