From Frank Gonzalez, Miami, FLA

In the last Email I slammed mercilessly the Clinton campaign and the many other charlatans of her level who hold high positions yet stooped to selling out their authority to oppose the criminal Bush Administration who led this country into an unethical, unconstitutional and economically self-destructive invasion and occupation of Iraq that has killed 3,100+ Americans, hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, left many thousands more severely maimed and permanently crippled, and wasted our money and resources with total abandon.

It is the MOST inconvenient truth of all that EVERYONE who voted for this horror has blood on their hands. They had a duty to pass a formal declaration of war, as required by the Constitution, but not some underhanded "resolution" that they think has fooled everyone.

I mentioned that Barack Obama and Dennis Kucinich were two exceptions who deserve a chance from Democratic Party voters because, unlike the others, they have not gone with the herd just to keep their careers.

Well, soon after that message, a fellow Democrat in Wisconsin said I failed to mention 2008 Presidential candidate and former U.S. Senator, Mike Gravel. After reading the positions on his website, I think he's the closest to my ideas, which include making strict fiscal discipline a strong priority. With the exception of socialized medicine, euphemistically and deceptively called "universal" healthcare, I agree with the individualist direction in which he seeks to take the Democratic Party.

Ask yourselves, "When voting in the primary, wouldn't I rather see an intelligent, ideological debate between Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich, who wish to take the party in fairly different directions, than in Hillary Clinton and John Edwards, where the differences equal which one's lipstick is prettier on the pig?

If you had a 50% chance of hanging by the neck; 45% chance of getting the firing squad; and 5% chance of FREEDOM, would you vote for hanging just because it's the likeliest outcome?

Then let's not commit political suicide by voting with the majority just because it's the majority or the media says so. Vote based on what is the most ethical and least damaging to other individuals. And the best way to do that is to look at/for it yourself!

Good luck.
I hope you can make it down to Miami.
