been going over a bunch of Naoms' recent stuff (not to mention the origanal Manufacturing Consent) - not to mention the US federalization of GM - lol
as if an inept union can replace a selfish one - not to mention - if the boy toy Obama can dupe the public into thinking a puppet for the NWO will somehow solve the domestic manufacturing crisis - omg - so much B.S -
manufacturing Consent - this guy was light years ahead of his time - where were ppl's thots when that emerged?
and, in the long run - where did that get anyone? something really radical needs being done - totally different

I think of our governors, bankers, economists, financial advisors etc as parasites - (on good days) - they feed off money in unhealthy and even deadly ways, overlooking their basic responsibilities to their fellow man in the pursuit of 'easy pickings' - and in so doing create chaos within the most vital of all the public organs - our value system.
There is no way of masking this cancer.
Thanks for the links.
One must continually return to the most basic common factors when dealing human response in relation to complex values in order to create viable, workable, realistic change - there is no way of 'sanitizing' unearned increment. When people dicover the abuse they report outrage but eventually return the same system - allowing their raw needs to have precedent over the essence of their humanity - by allowing financial investment to take charge and give priority to the basics of their lives.
People have got to put themselves above their needs in order to control them and money is the tool to do that with.
Will add more later - lost 4 hours work dbl clicking the space bar on new browser - Ack!!!
The financial underpinning of it all
Submitted on August 27th, 2009 by jflI know that you are very much attuned to the financial underpinnings of it all. I confess that I have always viewed finance more or less as a form of cancer, a sort of incurable disease that will finally be the end of us all.
Recently a person named Ellen Brown has been making the case for a Bank of California. I find it encouraging!

An interview at what looks like a Miesian Economics site (!) put don't let that put you off.
