Hey everyone,
Joshua Pritikin, who I think worked for the Gravel campaign and definitely volunteered to help change http://www.ni4d.us , has submitted the National Initiative for Democracy as an idea on www.ideablob.com
For those of you who don't know, Ideablob is a website sponsored by Advanta that gives out one $10,000 grant per month to an idea that wins its monthly contest. There are two ways to get into the final round of the contest: 1) win a "sprint," which means you get the most votes in one week or 2) get the most votes for the whole month. In the final round, I think the person who gets the most votes wins.
Currently, we are in 4th place for the "sprint" that lasts from March 1 to March 7. We can win the entire thing with less than 1,000 votes, so we need every vote possible!
If we win, we'll get $10,000 to produce some videos about the Ni4D and the money would also go toward producing paper ballots that could be used to vote for the national initiative.
BUT WE NEED ANYONE READING THIS TO VOTE!
All that's required to vote is that you register - you can register, vote, and then completely forget about this website if you want. BUT PLEASE VOTE for the national initiative on this website.

And it's featured on the main page, too: http://www.ideablob.com
Thanks very much,
Ross
PS - It would also be helpful if you didn't vote for any other ideas this month because that way we'll have less competition and more of a chance to win the $10,000.
