Occupying the catbird seat in the MSNBC prime time lineup has apparently come at a high cost for Rachel Maddow.

Since her checks started being signed by GE's corporate paymasters, the winsome free-spirited cable nymph now spends her time disparaging real liberal heroes like Gravel and Kucinich.

In this piece of character assasination, Maddow not only makes light of Gravel's Cassandra-esque warning about bellicose politicians, but goes so far as to insinuate that Kucinich was "an angry candidate."

That's right.

One of the lone anti-Iraq Congressional voices in the wilderness, with goals of a Department of Peace, is now a war monger.

Where's a rolling eyes emoticon when you need one?
