Current Tour Dates Senator Gravel?

From the scarce and random posts somewhere on the front page about  Grenoble France and Switzerland, it seems that Senator Gravel has been making some rounds to Europe and speaking at various institutions.

Is there any more information on these events? Are they posted on some hard-to-reach spot on the website?

A Hello to everyone still around the board.

The first link on the page is to the google video from this site. There's nothing new that I remember from Mike, really. What is new is the respect and attention he received from a roomful of French university students who showed up to hear Mike speak for an hour and a half in English. And they were all still there at the end of the tape. Good to see.

Mike is certainly doing what he can. But it's up to the rest of us. There was a comment from Michael Grant on the google group that is telling to me. Speaking about the "take it or leave it" attitude over there on the National Initiative he prefaced one remark, defending the done deal of the NI4d, with "... at this late date..." From their perspective it's been a ten year+ haul to get the NI4d "finished" and now it's our job to pass it.

I disagree. I realize they've been at it for years. But the country's by and large not even thought of it yet. This is the beginning not the end. This is an early date, a very early date, to be working on the NI4d. And it's wide open for revision as far as I'm concerned.

I have it up on the uspvp.org site and I'm working slowly but surely on making it available to all to work on for themselves, to perfect themselves, then to recombine to make something that truly is something new under the sun. That's my aim anyway. Certainly I'm just one of millions who will work on this project, if it is to become a national initiative.

I have no timetable. I just work on it as time allows. A citizen legislator. Happy to confer with other citizen legislators to perfect not only the national initiative legislation itself, but the process of proposing, writing, and enacting legislation in the abscence of hierarchic structure. Just we the people. That's what it's going to take, in my opinion, to get real change accomplished. That's the only goal worth pursuing from my point of view.

Hello to you too, Tom.

Times have changed. We are going to empower the American people. Let’s work together. I am tough. I’m not afraid. None of this politics as usual. Mike Gravel
