The Boston Tea Party
Submitted on October 5th, 2008 by eternaverseI think it's worth noting that both Neil Stephenson and Thomas L. Knapp are also members of the Boston Tea Party, America's true libertarian party. In fact Thomas L. Knapp is the founder of the Party and the vice-presidential candidate of our 2008 Presidential Ticket. Our presidential candidate is Charles Jay, his website is CJ08.com. The party’s website is bostontea.us.

Another Candidate
Submitted on August 17th, 2008 by cooman456Hello, my name is Dodge Landesman, and I was Gravel's Manhattan campaign manager, Though my run may not be as serious as other people's, I'm the Libertarian nominee for city council in NYC, and I'm going to make the National Initiative as a centerpeice for my campaign. I'd like to thank everyone in the Gravel campaign for all your help.

And thank you for making the Ni4D a centerpiece of your campaign, but isn't it more of an issue for state and federal candidates? What's your plan to work it into your campaign?
I'd Imagine it could be a City Issue too
Submitted on August 21st, 2008 by cooman456I'd imagine we can enact propositions as well, and I'd be able to advocate for it nonetheless. And I am a minor, but I turn 18 in November, and if I entered office in January 2010 (which is doubtful), I'd be 19, and old enough.
Certainly it's a city issue too
Submitted on August 24th, 2008 by jflCertainly it's a city issue too, and good for you for running!
I encourage you, and the others, to run as a people's virtual party member as well, to broaden your potential base of support, to build cross-party popular solidarity, and to elevate the NI4d and Campaign Finance Reform as the non-ideological, structural issues that will unite all of us in the numbers required to take firm control of government at the policy level and to regain control of our representative government and day-to-day details as well.
