Kingmakers cover

I know that the book was available online for quite some time, as Ross and others have gotten their copy. But I notice that the book has only been released to book stores two days ago. I haven't seen a copy myself, but from the cover on Amazon I notice Tim Russert is on the cover. I can guess that the books were printed long before his death, but just out of curiosity, does anyone think that the use of Russert's picture will cause some controversy, or does it even matter, dead or alive, if they used his picture?

Yes, too bad about Russert's death. Just think back when he was alive...a Kingmaker all the way. Of course the cover was done before he died. And so what if that makes the book more controversial...dem da facts!

The cover will not be changed. Russert's death was a tragedy, but he still played Kingmaker during his legacy as a mainstream journalist. The use of his image on the cover isn't meant as a slight or an insult of anykind.

Why would him being alive or not change what the book is about?

I had been thinking the same thing. I'm not sure what it will do. Have to wait and see. I doubt that it can be changed now, though.
