I saw my first RFID today, in a passport. As Mike says: "we just don't know what is going on - (but - it's clear somebody does!)

Canada is hosting its' 5th G8 Summit in 10 years - at Deerhurst, in the Muskokas. About 2 hours drive north of Toronto.

The way I see it, if you're a multi-millionaire, if you've got a vested interest in the military, industrial, health care, or legal complex, YOU WANT TO BE TRACKED.   That is your security shield. It distuinguishes you and protects you from the working poor. The vanishing middle class. It pools the resources for the 'elite' and keeps them from the plebe.

And I'll bet that topic heavily underscores the G8 meetings.

Of course it'll still be called an anti-terror measure.
