So, after the convention, my husband and I visited one of the bookstores in Denver. Found a great book by Frances Moore Lappe called
Getting a Grip: Clarity, Creativity, and Courage in a World Gone Mad (Paperback). I haven't finished it yet, but from what I've read so far, it seems like she is advocating something similar to the NI4D. Has Senator Gravel ever spoken with Ms. Lappe? She also goes around the country trying to educate people about what we can do to create a better society. Seems like introducing these two to each other would be a great idea.

Lappe is still around? I
Submitted on May 28th, 2008 by Mike__MLappe is still around? I remember reading her Diet for a Small Planet way back as a college freshman. That was when our man was still in the Senate.
I put the book on hold at our library.
Yes, and
Submitted on May 28th, 2008 by DebbieKatapparently, she and her daughter are both touring around speaking at various events and such. Seems like they'd be a great team.
I posted that. A few
Submitted on May 27th, 2008 by rosslI posted that. A few people told me in the chatroom that they were starting it. Not sure how far that got.
The only person that I remember MIGHT have been involved with it is the state chair of the LP for West Virginia.
Its a good idea. If enough
Submitted on May 28th, 2008 by Mike__MIts a good idea. If enough of us stay involved, I guess defacto we'd be a caucus.
How about a "Left-Libertarian" Caucus?
Submitted on May 27th, 2008 by JaywinThe LP could certainly stand to have something like that!

LNC VIce Chair
Submitted on May 27th, 2008 by Mike__MJingozian won Vice-chair on the LNC: is he with us on the NI4D?
He did endorse the Senator,
Submitted on May 27th, 2008 by sgrimesHe did endorse the Senator, so I assume he is....but we all know what happens when we assume lately....
From what I heard at the debates
Submitted on May 28th, 2008 by DebbieKatI would think both Jingozian and Phillies would be for something like this.
