Up to the Minute Articles on Mike Gravel

I just found a page linking to articles about, or mentioning Mike Gravel.

So many of the mentions are negative, but I was still glad to get some news. "My Strange Day with the Quixotic Mike Gravel" was the snottiest. It pained me when Mike did his MIC rant and asked "Who in the world is going to attack US?" and a student got laughs from saying "Al Qaeda."

I'll have to admit I expected someone to do that at some point. He should have said "Al Qaeda didn't attack us, our own goverment did." Hell, why *not* go out on a limb? He does in so many other ways. And Jesse Ventura is making waves right now going out on that limb. Yesterday I heard a clip of him on the Howard Stern show. Ventura apparently talks about 911 a lot in his new book. Having been a Navy Seal who was trained in demolitions he's able to understand there's a whole lot wrong with the government's version of events.

I think it was a Mike Malloy interview where Gravel expressed so many doubts about the official 911 story. But he hasn't become a full-fledged skeptic yet, apparently, although he would call for a full investigation.

Good site.  I usually just

Good site.  I usually just search Google News for "mike gravel."

I think it's good that Mike isn't a 9/11 truther.  There are so many "what ifs" and dubious assumptions necessary in order to become a completely convinced truther that I'm glad Mike hasn't gotten sucked in.

However, it's great that he's calling for a new 9/11 investigation.  There are a lot of things that don't add up, and judging by the Bush administration's unbelievable corruption, I wouldn't be surprised if they influenced the 9/11 Commission's final report.
