Hello everyone.
I felt like looking at the blog of Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls (they make a few neat political songs like the pro-choice song "Mandy Goes to Med School", the anti-war song "Sing", the implicitly anti-Bush song "The Kill"...).
When I saw that she supported Obama, I was extremely upset. How can such a creative and talented woman get fooled by a clone of Bush like Obama? http://dresdendollsdiary.blogspot.com/2008/04/best-birthday-ever.html
So I decided to post a comment about Mike Gravel (note: my comment has the screen name watarimono).

I think she really cares about the future of the world, but she's directing her support towards the wrong candidate, especially since she probably doesn't have the time as an ultra-busy musician (traveling around the country and the world) to spend hours looking at every single candidate out there.
It's very likely that Palmer doesn't know who Gravel is, and I want her to know that there is a candidate who has a creative and warm heart.

I've been trying to get some
Submitted on May 12th, 2008 by rosslI've been trying to get some politically active rappers to support Gravel, like Immortal Technique, Sage Francis, Jared Paul, and a few others. So far, I've gotten a response from Immortal Technique, just asking what I wanted him to do for Gravel. I'm still wating for another reply...
Hmmm
Submitted on May 12th, 2008 by DebbieKatThat gives me an idea. I might have someone to ask about getting involved musically as well... More punk-oriented. :-)
