I was just on the Libertarian Party website. Mike has only raised $905.00. I read that he must raise $5000.00. Is this true?

If so, how much time do we have? I have been gone for awhile, so am a little out of sync.  I'm just glad that Mike has not given up and look forward to

seeing Mike run as the Libertarian Party nominee. This party 'fits' Mike much better than the Demofarts.

This week I've given some money that should certainly help the campaign (I admit that I've given the entire donation directly to the Gravel campaign).

 

I'm glad Gravel is in the libertarian party because I feel like it is really giving momentum to his campaign (especially since a person on campus came up to me and asked me about Gravel a few days after the Gravel event at the coffee house).

 

Like you BamaGravelian, I noticed how the popularity of Gravel has been soaring (especially with Obama Girl ^^), and I feel less depressed than in the previous months.

 

I hope Gravel will win the LP nomination. At least he has a much better chance of winning the LP nomination thanks to the Gravel supporters like you who have become delegates (I really wish I could fly to Denver, but I unfortunately can't become a delegate and I can't fly to Denver because I want to see my friend who's celebrating his graduation, I have a summer course abroad that's already me costing a lot...But I am trying to get one person who I know may be interested in being a delegate).

It helps Gravel look good if you donate there, but it doesn't go directly to him.  I think it is more important to donate directly to the campaign, although you could split your donations.  I seriously doubt the $5000 requirement will prevent him from getting the nomination.  My understanding that it is simply a promotional program to raise money in the Libertarian Party.  I wrote about this earlier on 50-20.us.  BTW, the second period has started and Gravel's birthday is on May 13.

The Libertarian National Convention is May 22-26, so there is not much time left.  The main way you can help right now is to donate and promote Gravel online.  You might have noticed that the YouTube views have gone up a lot recently.  ;)  Message me on YouTube if you are interested in helping to promote the videos.
