Good independent media

This isn't Mike-related, but I figured this was the place to post it.

Anyone know of any good independent media (national and/or local)?

Here's where I get a lot of my info from:

www.gnn.tv - not the best, but it's good

www.grist.org - only environmental

www.treehugger.com - only environmental, and it's owned by Discovery, so I'm not sure if you would call it independent
