This morning, after my archaeology class, I saw one cameraman and a reporter from ABC 7. I was waving around my fliers concerning Gravel's visit on April 30th, and telling them that Gravel is still running until November and switched parties to stay in the race.
They were surprised and impressed to hear that Gravel is still running.
However, they have a one-track mind in the sense that they told me that they were only there to make a report on the bedbugs on campus. So whatever I said will never be mentioned on TV.
I think news reporters see more than what they actually report, and they lack a spirit of independence in the sense that they blindly follow whatever their bosses tell them to report.

That is pretty sad
Submitted on April 25th, 2008 by DebbieKatBut I guess I'm not surprised. MSM and such. They have been gutted and skewed to the point where it's not worthwhile watching their so-called "news" anymore. I can't stomach watching anything but my local news anymore. And they don't get THAT involved with politics going on (mostly just weather, traffic, local stuff). At least I can mostly count on that being the truth! :-)
