Hey, that rhymes!
Anyway, BamaGravelian was talking about doing simple things to save money so that you can donate to Gravel and/or joing the 50/20 program.
But $50 might seem like a lot of money to be spending on a presidential candidate. So how can you cut your losses and save some money?
Here are some tips (feel free to add more as comments):
-Turn the heat down a few degrees and the AC up a few degrees.
-Switch you lights to energy efficient ones.
-Eat out one less night per week.
-Drive 5 mph slower, on average.
-Make sure your tires are inflated properly.
-Don't donate to anyone else!
-Don't be afraid to re-wear clothes if they aren't dirty.
-If you're cooking on a stovetop, make sure the pot is completely on the burner to save energy.
-Buy generic.
I'm trying to make these easy, really thoughtless things that you can do in order to quickly save money. Hope this helps, and encourages people to donate.
