DFA Nightschool: running campaigns

Democracy for America dot com is running free "Night School" via conference call on how to run a grassroots campaign.  The first class is next week April 23rd and 8:30 pm eastern.  You can sign up at their website.  The first class is "writing a field plan."  I've never participated in these classes so I can't promise they'll be good but overall I'm impressed with their organization.  I will be tuning in on Wednesday to see what they have to say.

I was reading an article a while back on the strength of Obama's campaign coming from it's "grassroots structure" basically they were saying that it's really effective because people feel a personal connection to the candidate even if they never meet them.  Anyway we're going to need some serious grassroots organizing here if we hope to get Mike in the White House so I suggest everone who can come check out the training.
