Attn: Washington State Supporters & Convention

To all supporters in Washington State:

Mike is planning to attend the LP Convention in Tacoma, WA this coming Saturday the 19th.  I would be great to have as many supporters there as possible, plus to have some supporters become delegates for the national convention.

Also, Mike will be sticking around, such that if supporters want to put together an event on Saturday evening, please contact me with any suggestions.

Interest in attending, setting up an event for Saturday evening, or helping out while he's in the Seattle/Tacoma area; let me know.

So excited!!

I am absolutely THRILLED!  I just registered for the convention tomorrow and I can't wait to go.  It is about a 2 hour drive so I am going to have to leave super early, but it will totally be worth it.  If anything is going on afterwards with the Senator or otherwise I would love to attend that too =)

Edit;  And if there is any need for volunteers for anything, I'd love to do that too!  Haha.

Contacts in Washington for Saturday Event

If you have an event Saturday night in Washington, I have some emails to various groups in Washington compiled at the Mike Gravel Wiki. They include email addresses to FairTax groups, Iraq Veterans Against the War, and NORML activists...all in Washington state. At the bottom of the page, there are also links to lists of radio stations, TV stations, and newspapers in Washington

See http://mikegravel.wikia.com/wiki/Washington#Grassroots_.22Issues.22_Groups

And here's a link to the email addresses of about 30 Unitarian Universalist churches in Washington (Senator Gravel is a Unitarian Universalist): http://www.uua.org/aboutus/findcongregation/results.php?state=WA

So if there's a post convention Washington event, there's plenty of people to contact!

Me too

Please let me know if there will be any events after the convention!

This is SO cool!

But now I am so bummed, because I have a baby shower I'm supposed to be at that will occur at the same time Gravel is expected to be presenting. :-( Grrr.

Here's the agenda for the convention, btw.

I might have to

go to this instead. :-) Don't tell.

I appear to be having a wonderful conversation with myself here.

:-)

Ok, I'm going to the convention. I've even managed to convince my mom and husband to come along. :-) My husband's not  so into the politics thing, but I did get him to read citizen power, too! :-) This helps him have ammunition with his republican dad and grandfather. This is going to be fun.
