Democracy Now! is an independently funded TV show (and radio show, and website - www.democracynow.org) that runs on many different channels including PBS. I guess it has a pretty wide audience - it must in order to run on over 650 channels and stay in business. It consistently runs quality, in-depth stories that blow the sound-byte culture of the MSM to shreds.
I send them a few emails through http://www.democracynow.org/contact?to=1 suggesting that Mike Gravel should be on their show and/or they should do a show about the National Initiative.
Since this is a respectable organization that I expect listens to its audience more closely than venues in the MSM, I think we should send them as many emails as possible telling them to have Gravel on/ do a show on the Ni4D.
They're more likely to consider it than really any other media outlet their size.
A few other good independent media outlets that might be worth contacting:
www.therealnews.com (founded by Gore Vidal, among others, and completely funded by donations)
www.gnn.tv (not as good as some other indy media, but pretty good)

What about Al Gore's Current network?
Submitted on April 3rd, 2008 by DebbieKatThey air on Dish Network, not sure where else, but I suspect they get some traction. They have an option for user-provided content as well. There's a lot of environmental/renewable energy topics, which I assume is the focus of his channel, but it could be worth a shot.
True. I've seen Current
Submitted on April 3rd, 2008 by rosslTrue. I've seen Current before. They have these things that they run literally all the time called "pods" which are basically viewer-submitted mini documentaries. If someone could make one about Gravel, that would be great. I guess I could try to do that with my brother who's a film major, but we'll only have one night with Gravel.
