Maybe I Can Help
Submitted on March 18th, 2008 by J. Skyler McKinleyYou got me right, I am indeed the National Multimedia Coordinator.
1) Jon Kraus does a lot of stuff for us. His official title is Deputy Campaign Manager.
2) Elliott Jacobson no longer works for us.
3) Eli Israel no longer works for us, but he was our national ballot access coordinator. I took over that job in title only.
4) Alex no longer works for us. His job is split into a few ways, some press goes to me, some goes to Jon, some goes to others.
5) Skyler McKinley does everything on occasion.
6) Deborah Petri is our volunteer coordinator, she's also our Social Networking Coordinator.
7) See Above
8) Michael Grant is our part time webmaster, but it's a collaborative effort.
9) No Fundraising Contact
Hope that helps!

Thanks Skyler! I've got more questions...
Submitted on March 19th, 2008 by JaywinI updated the info above based on your posting. Does that look about right, or should it be modified some more? Any other "titles" that should be added?
Also:
1.) If Jon Kraus is the "Deputy Campaign Manager", who is the "Campaign Manager" ?
2.) What's the difference between a "Volunteer Coordinator" and a "Social Networking Coordinator" ?
3.) If Elliot Jacobson no longer works for you, then who is your New Hampshire Director now? Or do you not have one?
4.) Is Nick Urban still a webmaster?
5.) Any plans for getting a Fundraising Coordinator?
Again, thanks!
I've got answers!
Submitted on March 19th, 2008 by J. Skyler McKinley1) Chris Petherick is the campaign's chief of staff. Sen. Mike Gravel is the Campaign Manager. ;)
2) Volunteer deals in flesh, people who volunteer in the real world. Social networking director deals with Myspace, etc, meaning you don't have to list Deb as the Myspace contact explicitly.
3) Elliot Jacobson was on our national staff, then he moved out to NH for the primary. We don't currently have an NH state director.
4) Nick Urban is another guru who works alongside Mike Grant.
6) Want a job?
I love the Wiki!
I'm Glad You Love the Wiki :)
Submitted on March 19th, 2008 by JaywinI'm actually asking all these pesky questions so I can make the Official Contacts page at the wiki as comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date as possible! I've already made some modifications, and I have a feeling I'll be making even more!
More pesky questions :)
1.) I'm a little uncertain of the hierarchical relationship between Chief of Staff and Deputy Campaign Director...is Jon Chris's boss or is it the other way around? I'm guessing it goes Mike Gravel --> Jon Kraus --> Chris Petherick
2) What's Chris Petherick's e-mail?
3.) As flattering as the offer of being Fundraising Director is, I haven't the slightest clue on how to go about doing something like that! But having a Fundraising Director is something that is absolutely necessary for any campaign. Maybe you could send out a "Wanted Ad" to your e-mail list. Or perhaps there's some university students out there who are business majors who could do it for a practicum. Just some thoughts...
4.) Is the campaign's organizational structure similar in any ways to the Wikipedia article, Political campaign staff ? For example, would someone like Dr. Laurence J. Kotlikoff be considered part of your "Policy Department"? (Assuming you technically have a "Policy Dept."). Or would Jared H. Beck, Esq. and Richard M. Kerger, Esq. be part of your Legal Department?
5.) I've also noticed someone with the username "jpeters" posts a lot of the news on this site. Is that someone with some official title?
Thanks again for all your help thus far!

Submitted on March 19th, 2008 by J. Skyler McKinley1) Jon Kraus isn't really anybody's boss, he's just an extremely talented somebody helping out everywhere. The big boss, is, I suppose, Chris Petherick.
2) cpetherick@gravel2008.us
3) Hehe, I was kidding. We do really appreciate what you've been doing for us.
4) We don't really have departments, but I'll dig some more to see if I can elaborate.
5) Jpeters is Chris Petherick.
Ready for round three!

Round 3: Regional Directors
Submitted on March 20th, 2008 by JaywinAllright...let's see if I can stump you here :-)
According to the state contacts page, Lynne Mosier is the West Coast Regional Director, and Stacy Standley is the Mountain Regional Director.
1.) What states are part of the West Coast Region?
2.) What states are part of the Mountain region?
3.) Are there any other regional divisions in the campaign besides these two?
Thanks for your responses thus far!
You Can't Stump the Chump!
Submitted on March 20th, 2008 by J. Skyler McKinley1) Lynne is the Senator's daughter, and a big help! The West Coast region is California, Oregon, and Washington.
2) NV, ID, MT, WY, UT, AZ, NM, and CO all make up the Rocky Mountain region.
3) There are no explicitly defined regions aside from those two, though if there are interested parties, we can divide up the remainder of the nation. ;-)

Alaska & Hawaii
Submitted on March 20th, 2008 by JaywinAnyone ever consider including Alaska and Hawaii in with the West Coast Region? Think about it...if you ever did end up dividing up the entire nation by region, where else would Alaska and Hawaii go? :-) LOL
I think Alex might not be
Submitted on March 18th, 2008 by Brian798I think Alex might not be involved with the campaign anymore. He was always on the forums, then he never come back on. Unless he just stopped going on the forums here. I'm not sure about Eli Israel either. I don't know if we have a Fundraising Coordinator. Elliott Jacobson is the National Field Director, I know that.

I Could Help
Submitted on March 19th, 2008 by GravelFanNJWhile I am Senior in High School I have worked for semi-pro football teams before in Central/South Jersey and know all the newspaper and a lot of the bloggers from that region. I have done press releases, hanging out signs, and know some various contacts who know more contacts. Most of them political savy.
I would love to help out that campaign if that was an offer to anybody. I know we could gain press if you had HSer helping out your campaign in a higher looking position.
Well thought I throw my name in the hat.
Hey man, I think you've sent
Submitted on March 19th, 2008 by gravel08njHey man, I think you've sent me an email before, but I think it fizzled out from there. I've been doing as much as I can handing out Gravel cards and telling people, but many haven't picked up on it. If you'd like to talk about what we could do, be sure to give me an email. I'm limited to public transportation, so it might be tough if you want to meet up, but I'm in the City of New Brunswick.

Submitted on March 19th, 2008 by gravel08njA little off topic
Submitted on March 20th, 2008 by GravelFanNJBut how did all the national campaign people find out about Mike? Also, I was curious what prior campaign experience has the team had or is it sort of a McGovern thing with a lot of youth?
A friend of mine had
Submitted on March 20th, 2008 by gravel08njMoi...
Submitted on March 20th, 2008 by J. Skyler McKinleyI fell in love with the National Initiative independently of Mike's campaign in November of 2006.
I'm an anomaly in the campaign, I work on and run campaigns in the state of CO, but a majority of our staff has never worked on any sort of campaign before. It's a great bunch!

Well
Submitted on March 20th, 2008 by GravelFanNJMaybe I could come down during some of my school breaks(April, May, June, possibly July) because I believe part of Gravel's campaign is the youth and the legacy. I believe that is one thing that hurt Perot(Reform) and Nader's runs was that he never had a youthful person to take over when he was done or getting there.... so I would like to know as much as possible now.
