527 question

I read on the home page today that Mr. Gravel is planning on suing to get an ad off the air promoting Hillary Clinton because it's from a 527 group and is promoting a candidate.

 

My question is: Isn't MoveOn.org promoting a candidate too?  Aren't they a 527 group as well?

Seems to me that there is a possible violation of the 527 law here by move promoting Obama, because I seem to recall this issue coming up in 2004 when MoveOn ran an antibush that was precieved by them to be pro Kerry ad.

I don't know how they escaped from criticism. They've been pushing Obama hard.
