Hello Dawn, Thank you for writing to Yahoo! News.Thank you for contacting us regarding the Yahoo! News Political Dashboard. We have other candidates included within the dashboard. The defaultviewis based on the leaders in the 'Polls' column. So on the National tab, additional candidates can be seen by clicking on 'Other Candidates.' InStates where polling data is available and that particular candidate ispolling higher you will see the candidate listed with the leaders. On other states, where the candidate is not polling as well, they can be found on the 'Other Candidates' tab. For some states, no polling dataiscurrently available. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me again. Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! News.Regards,DerekYahoo! News Customer Care
E-mail Yahoo and tell them to list Gravel, Gravel is a presidential candidate, there is no reason a news organization should hide this fact. I clicked on "all candidates" and the page came up WITHOUT Gravel, that is fraud. Please correct this.
Just what we need -- more omission from the "news". I don't know how or why they do that -- does no one understand the importance of (a) having a POV other than that of the "popular kids" or (b) standing up for what they believe in? I swear, these "news" sites must get major kickbacks for blacklisting Mike. I particularly enjoy how Yahoo! and other media liars call their spin "Full Coverage." Mike, rock on. You've got my vote in WI, and we're spreadin' the word!!!!
Hopefully if they get enough feedback they'll either (a) add Mike, or (b) at least change inbound links to that page to read "See all leading candidates" instead of "See all candidates." If they don't add Gravel's profile, Yahoo visitors should at least know that they're not getting the full story when they visit that page.
In much less important news, I just noticed that he's not listed on the Onion's candidate page either ... I'll choose to believe that they felt Gravel's platforms were too good to parody.
