I've never been to a caucus before but am considering going this time. I see that Minnesota is not on the list of states where Gravel is on the ballot. Can I still go to the caucus and support him, or will they tell me he isn't a possible choice and make me pick someone else? The reason I've never done the caucus thing before is that I don't like everyone else seeing my choice, but this time it might be worth it. Thanks.

Caucus status in Minneosta
Submitted on January 31st, 2008 by myferalprofessorUnfortunately, there was a lapse in communication in Minnesota and a deadline imposed by the DFL was missed for filing a form to get Mike into the caucus. They were waffling on whether or not the caucus would be pushed forward this year and the campaign somehow ended up expecting a different deadline than the DFL. We've been telling our delegates to go 'uncommitted', which still sends a strong message. While it stinks to not have the coverage the caucus provides, Gravel's focus is November and things will start to gel as it approaches!

Wow, that's unfortunate.
Submitted on January 31st, 2008 by chadasmithWow, that's unfortunate. Mike's message and campaign could have been well-received in Greater Minnesota, Duluth in particular, where the only ads being run are for Obama and PAUL! Constantly! I wouldn't be surprised at all if Paul did well in the republican primary here. Oh well, onward and upward from here!
