Let's make this an actual forum

I've been the administrator of a forum before and I have to say this does not have the makings of a forum that can keep the attention of a user.

 

Most of it is fine, but as a Gravel Supporter, I'd like to see at least two things added to this forum.

 

1. Introduction section

 

Most forums have this.  It's a way for all the members to introduce themselves and incites people to post on the site.

 

2. Off topic forum

 

Again with other forums having this.  A lot of the time it turns into the largest section on the forum, but that means the site is getting traffic.  It also keeps people on the site and allows for non-political discussion to be had without leaving the site.  (sometimes a guy's gotta have a break)  Give the user a break without making him/her leave the site.

 

 

That aside, I'm an avid Gravel Supporter and hope to be voting for you on super tuesday in Georgia.  Let me know if there's ANYTHING I can do to help the campaign.

We do have the "backyard" section

We do have the "backyard" section for topics outside the election.

 

Also, you said you have ran a forum before. Do you have any experience designing a website?  We're trying to organize a huge mass donation day for Mike on January 27th, the anniversary of the end of the Vietnam war.
