I've read three articles this week on dem presidential candidates and only the BBC one mentioned Gravel. So I decided to contact the WashPost and NY Times. Below is the link to the Dodd article that does not mention Gravel. Let em know!

everyone that wants to help
Submitted on May 9th, 2007 by leftinthemidwesteveryone that wants to help the Gravel campaign should immediately get signed up on digg.com and reddit.com Then search Mike Gravel and digg/upvote all of his stories. Those sites are pry the ones that generated so much pressure on CNN to allow in in the debate.

Mike could use all the help available. It's not like every American isn't watching American Idol and searching the Internet for the best way to help our country. Wake up! Americans are asleep at their Democratic wheel, pumped full of anti-depressants and mass-media hysteria.
Anyone in the position of making the choice of who is and is not heard in the mass-media deserves to know exactly every day, every hour, what the American people feel like and why it's important that they (the media reps) change. Call up, email, send a letter, whatever...the people in charge of the media need to know how we feel. Otherwise, they won't know how we feel and it won't matter to them, to their heart. You can't tell me that a real human being with a soul (and kids!) can possibly sit through 100's of phone calls and emails describing the urgency and neccessity of Mike Gravel's message and remain with the position that he shouldn't be invited to the debate. Kill them with love. Kill them literally. If we can't successfully kill those people as they are, then we won't have the media on "our side". They must die so horribly, that the next day not only will they be inviting Mike to debate...they'll be contributing to his campaign as well! Those people would have died to their ego's and would have become better for it. And that's the kind of change we need in America right now. A change in fundamental thought patterns. Everyone should die to themeselves, and be reborn a better human being. Kill them with love, send them your messages and give it to them where it counts.
The media, the Internet, youtube, myspace, a passing conversation, a sticker placed on a street lamp, Mike needs EVERYTHING that can help him.

Submitted on April 30th, 2007 by eshornockThe first that I heard of him locally was in a Detroit News blog that called Mike's idea about declaring the war illegal to be asinine (um...no...if congress can make it legal they can make it illegal).
It's good to see another Michiganian here. :)
Hello, fellow Michiganders!!!!!!!!
Submitted on April 30th, 2007 by Bob AI started a thread in the forums secion of the on-line Detroit Free Press.
We need to start linking his site into all of the comments sections along with his youtube answers from the debate. Pictures and video of what this man is about will ensure that the movement grows.
We need to get the word out!
I LIKE MIKE!!!!!!!

BTW, where in Michigan (roughly)? I'm in Southeastern Macomb county. Maybe we can all meet up at some point to try to get this rolling.

I've managed to hit all of the major youtube videos. Had to edit as it seems they do not allow URL's on their sites.
Hopefully, people can read between the lines!
Literally speaking of course!
In a pre-emptive statement issued on March 16, CNN, WMUR TV and the New Hampshire Union Leader declared their intention to exclude Democratic Presidential candidate Mike Gravel from their tri-sponsored debate on June 3rd. This petition seeks to change that. In the wake of the debate on April 26, Sen. Gravel deserves to be heard.

Submitted on April 30th, 2007 by Bob AAre you aware of any bumper stickers or buttons yet? I know he's still trying to catch up monetarily speaking.
The only thing I can come up with right now is getting his name and youtube videos out to as many blogs and sites as possible.

Yes! (just found some)
Submitted on April 30th, 2007 by eshornockThis is the only button that I'm familiar with. Although it's not usable for this purpose, I thought it was cool to see. :) Others (long before I heard of Mike) made 'print-them-yourself' bumper stickers but I don't know of any official gear.
Edit: I take that back. There's 'official gear' at cafeexpress.
I've been doing my share of that as well. It's tough to do much when you're broke(n). :/

Submitted on January 18th, 2007 by B AllenHe was mentioned in the WashPost today in the Obama article. Not mentioned in the Boston Globe a day or two ago. The BBC article is cool. If he's serious about calling people out and being a 'maverick' he needs to get into the debates. The just scheduled some today in Nevada. We should post the phone number of the debate sponsors and call them to make sure Gravel gets in.

Submitted on April 30th, 2007 by SouthernBelle82Earlier this morning on MSNBC Live Stephanie Miller was hosting (she's there till Wednesday) and at the end of her show she gave props to Mike talking about him and his record. She's still calling him "crazy" though but not so much about his plans and ideas but just his personality and all that.

Submitted on April 30th, 2007 by tinalouiseYou know how when you have been in the dark and it takes a while for your eyes to adjust to light?....I think it is like that for the media with 'real speak'....they have been dealing in spin, rhetoric and scripted lies for so long, they find the truth alien. They may take a while to tune-in to this new frequency!
We (who found our way here to Mike Gravel) don't hear him as anything other than just like us, because (I expect) we speak truth on a regular basis.
Namaste,
