The top six Libertarian presidential candidates will hold a debate in Kansas City, Missouri from 10:00-11:30 A.M. CST. This debate is considered one of the major debates amoung the top contenders for the Libertarian nomination. Participating in this debate are the following:

  • George Phillies
  • Wayne Allyn Root
  • Christine Smith
  • Michael Jingozian
  • Dr. Mary J. Ruwart
  • Sen. Mike Gravel

This debate will also mark the first appearance for Senator Gravel as a Libertarian presidential candidate.

Unfourtunately, this debate will not be broadcasted on national televison. However, the debate will be broadcasted on KCXL (1140 AM in Liberty, Missouri) or KCTO (1160 in Olathe, Kansas). For those of us not in Kansas or Missouri, log on to www.kcxl.com to listen live!

As I stated above, the debate will go from 10:00-11:30 AM CST. Following the debate will be post-debate program which will run from 11:30-12 CST.

The link to debate isn't working

Brian,

First of all, thanks for stepping up and blogging for this website.  I hope you will be able to help this campaign get information out to its supporters.  I have been having difficulty with the link you provided to the debate this morning.  I also went on the Heartland Libertarian Conference website and had trouble with their link as well.  Are you experiencing the same difficulties?

No, I am not experiencing the same difficulties. Are you able to listen to the debate on the radio stations website?

By the way, Senator Gravel is wiping the floor right now. Only guy getting applauses!
