Power to the People.

It seems to me that a National Initiative would be much better than the limited Representative Democracy we have had in these United States since 1776.

   We the People have never had a say in the actions taken by our National Government for instance:

1. If the American people had a choice all the undeclared wars after World War II would have never happened.

2. Our borders would be protected and the 12 million illegal immigrants would not be present in our States.

3. If the American Public could decide on our trading policies NAFTA, Cafta and all the other so-called Free Trade Agreements would have never been enacted.

4. If the American Public  had a choice Torture and Rendition would have never been tactics use by our military to combat so-called terrorism and Guantanamo would have remined a benign, geographical  place in Cuba.

5. If the American Public have had a choice,  they would have never permitted our Foreign Policy to become the imperialist instrument of a small group of Economic elites and a few American Transnational corporations. The terrible atrocities which were committed in Our name in East Timor, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Chile would have never happened.

These are only a few examples of what American People power could have done.

 The Current Bush Administration has pushed and moved American Democracy to a Neocon Plutocracy. If we Americans do not heed the words of Thomas Jerfferson( in Our Declaration of Independence)  and move  to alter the course of this government, our Democracy will be extinguished.

Iraq and DU Weapons

I'm writing here again in this site as I feel that Mike has the courage to speak up about Depleted Uranium weapons being used in the Gulf War, the Balkans, and in the present Iraq Conflict. Others that happen upon this site may raise again this issue to others which is causing so much suffering as we speak. It will also be a very long term problem for that region and the rest of the world.   Babies are born deformed and people are dying of various problems related to exposure from these highly toxic weapons. The veterans of Iraq will also bring home the problem and they will have their sons and daughters born deformed as well.   Mike looks at our fellow human beings as being equals (which I admire a lot) - while some people may feel they are superior to others and may not appreciate differences - as Mike says, "people are dying" for what I too believe is about oil and the control thereof. The human race is but one family and we need to look after our precious planet for our survival. I'm sure the Creator didn't have these wars and weapons in mind when we were given the gift of intellect and free will.   Best Regards, Brad        

Google Agent Orange.

Depleted Uranium maybe a newer problem but just look at Agent Orange and you'll see the type of problems are not new. People have been dealing with the fall out of A.G. since at least Vietnam, both here and there. Our solders and their solders/civilians are both affected by this chemical. The problems are far reaching and yet have never been truly addressed by this country's leadership. We need Mike so that our country will actually DO something about such things. With Hillary Obama or any of the others in either party, America's shame will be swept under the rug along with any solution to such problems.

Iraq war and Corruption in Congress

Yes Mike.... Please keep  speaking up....You've Got To BE SEEN On Television and Ads on the Internet!!

I keep telling people about you all the time and direct them to your website. They have never heard of you and I try quickly  to expose them and your honest thinking. You are the most direct, honest inspiritional candidate  I have ever seen and I am 60. 

Many people  discouraged aren't even watching the debates.. The Public needs to hear more about the indifferent and corrupt congress that cares  about the money they are raising to be elected than all the people dying in Iraq everyday. Where is our morality in this country with  this war to plain smooth talking politicians bought off looking for power.

The people in this country need to be empowered by a passionate person who really cares about the world and the human condition and can explain just what corporate America is doing to make profits  and profits from oil and war at it's finest. The public has been worked over fairly well with 9/ll to create immense fear in our society.

Please post other ways in which we can get involved and help.
