Gravel in NH, VT Calls for End to War, Fair Treatment of Veterans

What an amazing week it has been for the Gravel for President campaign. It was truly inspiring to see so many Gravel supporters turn out to show their support all across New Hampshire and Vermont. The Gravel campaign continues to gather momentum. From town to town, in every community, at every stop, people are turning out to hear the senator's message; end the war, stop the torture, restore American dignity.

On Monday 2 the senator appeared live on WMUR 's 'Meet The Candidates' in Manchester, NH. The taping will appear on the WMUR website on April 20th.

Tuesday 3 the senator was at Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH where he appeared live on 'Tuesday Briefing' at The Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication. Later that day he toured the Cathedral of the Pines National War Memorial where he called for an end to the war on America's veterans.

Wednesday 4 Senator Gravel appeared at a Meet and Greet at Warner Books in Warner, NH where he spoke to the local media and answered questions from local residents.

Thursday 5 the senator spoke with the Residents of Havenwood – Heritage Heights in Concord, NH, a retirement community of over 650 residents.

Friday 6 the senator campaigned in Brattleboro, VT where he appeared on 1490 AM WKVT radio.

And finally, on Saturday 7, Senator Gravel appeared at the Hooker - Dunham Theatre where he answered questions and met locals.

Thank you to everybody who came out to meet the senator and offer their support. This is your campaign, this is your government. Take it back.

This is my first comment on Gravel's blog. I just heard he's polling better than Kucinich. That's probably better than Howard Dean was doing at this point in 2004. Go Mike!

Lips that have kissed Bush's ass will never kiss mine.

Right on Gravel!!

Keep it up. It's like the tortoise and the hare. Slow speed wins the race. Just keep looking people in the eye like you did to me. Gravel's not a politician, he's a humanitarian. He will be the best President in history. One person at a time.

No seriously!

I couldn't agree more. Senator Gravel says what other people are afraid to say! Things need to change and sometimes you have to do some restructuring. You can't expect radical change without changing the system. Stay focused, stay motivated and keep fighting the good fight, Senator! The country needs someone who isn't afraid to call for drastic changes in the tax code, the legislative process and the health care system. Mike Gravel is a candidate to watch... and I plan to... and I hope to see him make some great strides in the near future.
